Type I technology is your 15 year old beater truck that just will not die. Has never let you down and always gets you where you want to be, eventually. Type II technology on the other hand is that brand new roadster that can only go on the road when everything is perfect. While you cannot use it every time, when you do use it, it gets you where you want to be much faster.
